Obituary

Mayme Adkins, 91, of Milton, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008 in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  She was born October 31, 1917 in Wayne Co., WV a daughter of the late Robert and Alice Taylor.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eris Adkins.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and gardening.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Judy Adkins of Milton; sister, Marie Simms of Cincinnati, OH; sister-in-law, Odessa Fletcher of Huntington; granddaughters, Sarah Adkins and Christine (Aaron) Harms; grandson, Michael (Katreona) Adkins; and great granddaughter, Aedyn Harms.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
