Obituary

Gloria Jean Barton Edwards, 40, of  Hurricane, passed away Friday, December 5, 2008 at her home.  Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Burial will follow in Community Cemetery, Culloden.  She was born September 4, 1968 in Marietta, OH.  She was a dog groomer for 22 years.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bob Leffew.  She is survived by her husband, Mike Edwards; son, Andrew Barton; daughter, Allison “Cricket” Barton all of Hurricane; step daughter, Stephanie Michelle Edwards of North Charleston, SC; parents, Dana and Nancy Glenn of Milton; father, Dave Barton of Marietta, OH; brother, Dana Glenn, Jr. of Milton; sisters, Melissa Barton, Rose Barton, Stephanie Glenn, Katie Saunders, Christina Payton all of Milton, Connie Barton and Terrie Brown of Ohio; maternal grandmother, Lydia Leffew of Cabin Creek; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Glenn of Milton; numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM, prior to the service on Wednesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
