Obituary

Rosa Scarberry, 72, beloved sister and aunt, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2008 at her home in Lesage.  Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.  She was born April 21, 1936 in Cabell County, WV, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Eva Henry Scarberry.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Rex Scarberry, James Scarberry, and Billy Richard Scarberry; one sister, Ella Underwood.  She is survived by her loving sisters, Eloise Scarberry, Patricia (Freddie) Scarberry, and Ruby Hanna all of Lesage and Jean (Junior) Wroten of Huntington; sister-in-law, Alta Scarberry of Barboursville; two special nephews and their wives, Scott and Misty Scarberry, Dwayne and Kim Scarberry; one special great niece, Eva Dawn Scarberry; special friend, Ruth Childers; host of other loving family members.  The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Anthony Parks and to River Park Hospital Staff.  Visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM on Friday, prior to the service.
