Ronnie Arthur "Jelly" Johnson

Ronnie Arthur “Jelly” Johnson, 60, of Milton, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Jackie Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  He was born April 24, 1948 in Milton, WV a son of the late Bennett Talmadge and Audrey O. Burton Johnson.  He was also preceded in death by his dear friend, Judy Foster.  He loved to fish and tell stories.  He will be missed by all his family and friends.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Kari Foster of Hurricane; daughter, Laura Conard and her fiancé, Eric Blackshire of Milton; grandson, Jonathan David Foster; four brothers, Roger Johnson, Talmadge (Vivian) Johnson, Emmett Johnson, and Rick (Mitzi) Johnson all of Milton; two sisters, Sue (Johnny) Mount of Glenwood and Terri (Brent) Chapman of Ona; special nephew and niece, Richie and Courtney Johnson; his beloved dog, Boo; great friends, Curtis and Crystal Chapman, Lori and Riley Clay and Gloria Wyant.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
