PHYLLIS MAE JORDAN KINDER
(March 8, 1928 - October 7, 2010)



PHYLLIS KINDER, 82, of Milton, WV passed away, Thursday, October 7, 2010 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born March 8, 1928 in Mason County, the daughter of the late Earley and Norma Nicholson Jordan. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2010 11:00 a.m. at the Church In The Valley, Milton with the Rev. Andy Conner and the Rev. Carl Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Memorial Park Milton, WV. The family will receive friends on October 10, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, and on Monday, October 11, 2010, one hour prior to services at the Church In The Valley. She is survived by her husband Billy Taylor Kinder, two sons, Samuel and Patty Kinder, of Gallipolis Ferry West Virginia; the Rev. Carl and Jeanine Kinder of Welcome ,North Carolina; one daughter, Connie and Everett (Patches)Neville of Milton; one brother, John Paul Jordan of Columbus, Ohio. Phyllis was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, . She was preceded in death by one great grandchild, Joshua Douglas Neville; four brothers and one sister. She was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a charter member of the Church In The Valley and a member of the Milton Senior Homemakers. Pallbearers serving will be her sons Carl Kinder, Sam Kinder, Grandsons Shawn Kinder, Ben Kinder, Tim Neville, and Deacon David Cornell. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. HENSON MORTUARY, BARBOURSVILLE is assisting the family with the arrangements.
