Obituary
TRUMAN E. BROWN
Truman E. Brown, 82 of Minford, OH, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Best Care Nursing and Rehab Center, Wheelersburg, OH. He was born October 23, 1928 in Huntington, WV the son of the late, Thomas and Fannie Stevens Brown. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Sexton Brown of Minford, OH and two special nieces of Huntington, WV. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Brown, Jr. and Karl Brown; one sister, Betty Brown. He retired from the Atomic Plant in Piketon, OH, a member and deacon at Madison Missionary Baptist Church in Minford, OH where he was also active in the visitation program. Truman was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran and volunteer at the Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth, OH. Truman loved people, fellowship of all kind especially with his church and senior friends at the Life Center. He was a friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV. Friends called from 12:00 noon until service time. Burial followed in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV.
