Joyce Margaret Page Adkins, 78 of Huntington, W.Va. went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, W.Va. She was born November 7, 1938 in Docking Kingslynn Norfolk, England the daughter of the late, Dudlous Isaac and Edith Mary Winn Page. She was a retired Head Cook from Children Place Early Learning and a member of Olive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by on e son, Paul Anthony Adkins; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years; Arthur “Art” Henry Adkins; children, Janette Mary Kopp (Richard) of Gulfport, Miss, Karen Jane Harmic (Joe) of Huntington, W.Va, Arthur Henry Adkins (Maida) of Gulfport, Miss and Polly Ann Waldrop (Jack of Lockeford, CA; four sister, Betty Wells of Docking, England, Brenda Higby of San Bernardino, CA, Sylvia Page of Sedgeford, England and June Grayham of Docking England; grandchildren, Alina Mason, Richard Kopp, Jennifer Gould, Joseph Henry Harmic, April Mitchell, Derick Williams, Benjamin Amir Adkins, Janelle Langley, Steven Langley, Emily Parker-Williams, Amber Parker, Brandon Adkins and Paul Anthony Adkins, Jr. and twenty grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va. with Pastor Gordon Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va.. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until services time on Friday at the funeral home.
