Floyd Jiggs Rider
(March 16, 1923 - January 31, 2010)

Mr. Floyd J. Jiggs Rider, 86, of Wayne, WV passed away Sunday January 31, 2010 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. At his passing her was surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Fred Ferguson and Rick Perdue. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born March 16, 1923 in Winda, Georgia, a son of the late James Floyd and Ina Missouri Garner Rider. He was a former employee with Houdaille Industries. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Martha Boyd Rider; three brothers Cephas J. Rider, Clarence M. Rider and William H. Rider; and four sisters C. B. Brantley, Josephine Owens, Cynthia E. Scott and Johnnie Belle West. Survivors include a special daughter Martha Ann Fry, who was reared by Floyd and his wife Martha, and her family whom he adopted and loved as his own, her son Jeffrey Fry and his wife Tonia and their children Ben and Emily Fry and her daughter Jill Parsons and her husband Danny and their children Jacey, Rileigh and Baylee Parsons and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
