Obituary
Clovis Adkins, Jr.,
89, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Cornerstone
Hospital, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at
the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Frank Dunlee. Burial will follow in
Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born January 10, 1925 in
Huntington, WV a son of the late Clovis and Sadie Adkins. He was a plumber
having worked for Young Plumbing and Ferguson Plumbing. Clovis was a WWII
and Korean War US Navy Veteran. Survivors include his companion Christine
Hawkins, son and daughter in law Terry and Nita Adkins; daughter Yvonne
Mosley and her husband Willis Mosley, Jr.; five grandchildren Jeremy,
Johnathon and Justin Daniels, Anna and Stephen Adkins and six great
grandchildren. Friends may call from 3 pm to 5 pm Sunday at the Reger
Funeral Home. VFW Post 6878 of Proctorville, Ohio will conduct graveside
military rites.
