Obituary
EDITH GERALDINE BURNS,
90, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the
Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be conducted on
Monday, February 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor
Jerry Matt. Burial will private. Edith was a retired seamstress for
Maidenform Garment Manufacturing Company. Edith was born on July 2, 1923 in
Lincoln County, W.Va., the daughter of the late David Micah and Eva May
Adkins Burns. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her
five brothers; Ray, Albert, Matt, John and David and six sisters: Beulah
Hanshaw, Rena Keesee, Kathleen Hunt, Lula, Alta and Bertha Burns. She is
survived by her nephews and spouses: John and Lenda and Kenneth and Linda
Burns. Danny Ray, Christine Peters, Anna Mary Keefer and great nieces and
nephew: Barbie and Micheal. Friends may call from noon until service time on
Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
