Patsy Ross
(June 15, 1929 - January 27, 2011)



Patsy Louise E. Galloway Ross, 81, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Bob Ray and Capt. Bob Mullens. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born June 15, 1929 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Frank and Emmer Alta Ferrell Erwin. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard "Red" Galloway and Clifford Ross, and one sister, Deloris Hamlin. She was a member of Cyrus Creek Baptist Church and she attended the Salvation Army Church. She was a retired Registered Nurse and was a former teacher at the St. Mary's School of Nursing. She is survived by four stepchildren, Junior Ross, Earnest Ross and Sharon Hager, all of Barboursville, WV, and Charles Galloway of Ashland, KY; two sisters, Theresa (Edward) Bradshaw of Florida and Iris Lou ( Tom) McCoy of Barboursville; two brothers, Fred (Recie) Erwin of Ona, WV and Everette (Mitz) Erwin of Tacoma, WA; a special granddaughter, Wendy Galloway of California; a special friend, Clyde Walker of Huntington, WV; three special caregivers, Recie Erwin, Renee Erwin and Karen Eubanks; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
