Wilma Triplett
(December 6, 1923 - March 30, 2011)



Wilma Triplett, 87, of Branchland, WV, deceased from this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Green Valley United Baptist Church by the Rev. Jackie Walker and Rev. Russell Gue. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery, Branchland. She was born December 6, 1923 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Andy and Loretta Bias Lucas. She was a member of the Green Valley United Baptist Church and had retired from the Huntington Manufacturing Company with service of 37 years. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Chelcie Triplett on February 14, 1994, two sisters, Gurnia and Hazel Lucas of Branchland, WV and three brothers, Mansford, Clinton, and Earl Lucas. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert and Sharon (Parsons) Lucas and Terry and Fay (Adkins) Triplett; two daughters and son-in-law, Debbie and Roger Prichard and Hilda Lynn Pierce; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one nephew, James (Donna) Lucas and one niece, Dorothy (Kenny) Ross all of Branchland, and a very special friend, Bob Hutchinson. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
