Obituary

LEONA GAY SALMONS
(November 5, 1937 - October 8, 2014)

LEONA GAY SALMONS, 76, of Huntington, formerly of Naugatuck, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Travis Perry. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, W.Va. She was born November 5, 1937 in Williamson, W.Va., a daughter of the late George and Mildred Proffitt Salmons. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Floyd Salmons. She is survived by two brothers, Bill Salmons of Clarksville, Va., and Keith Salmons of Naugatuck, W.Va. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
