Obituary

ROBERT LEE WINTERS
(April 12, 1934 - October 7, 2014)

ROBERT LEE WINTERS, 80, of Lesage, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Rev. Dr. John Sauvage. Burial will be in Caldwell Cemetery, Lesage, W.Va. He was born April 12, 1934 in Cabell County, a son of the late Alva and Ella Miller Winters. He graduated from Barboursville High School and was retired from Owens-Illinois. He was a member of Z Warner United Methodist Church and a member of Minerva Lodge #13 AF & AM in Barboursville, whose members will conduct masonic graveside rites. Bob loved to farm and raised purebred shorthorn cattle. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Mae Hall. He is survived by his wife Charlene Justice Winters,: one daughter, Martha Lynn Holley of Lesage: one son Robert Lee (Mitzie) Winters II of Lesage: one brother, George (Dorothy) Winters of Lesage: five grandchildren, Carrie Jean (Rich) Tudor of Florida, Robert Lee "Bo" (Kristy) Winters III, Zachary Jackson (Brittany) Winters, Courtney Renee Holley and her companion Bobby Thompson, and Jared Cody Holley and his companion Sarah Clagg, all of Lesage: and five great-grandchildren, Austin and Reed Tudor, Mackenzie Belle Thompson, Raelyn Sha Thompson and Jazmyne Aleah Holley. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
