Pauline Mae Bentz
(November 26, 1934 - December 28, 2015)



Pauline Mae Bentz, 81, of Huntington, a special and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was born November 26, 1934 in Meigs County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Eva and Binas Randolph and William Reid. She graduated from Shade High School, Class of 1949, retired from Kerr Glass, and attended Shoals Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, her twin Paul Reid, Charley Reid and Robert “Bob” Reid. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Rowe (Jeff); one son, Jack Bentz; three grandchildren, Rachel Gibson (Greg), Amy Colangelo (Slone Preston) and Stacy Wallace (Emory); Mama Bentzie’s eight special great-grandchildren with whom she loved with all her heart, Ashley Mae and Blake Gibson, Alex, Zach, Bella and Chris Colangelo and Ethan and Aidan Wallace; one brother, William “Doc” Reid (Ruth); and two sisters-in-law, Betty and Betty Reid. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. At Pauline’s request, services will be private. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville is assisting the family with arrangements.
