Ruth Ann Crigger Burkhart
(July 21, 1939 - December 14, 2015)



RUTH ANN CRIGGER BURKHART, 76, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 14, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Minister David Gladwell and Jamie Goheen officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. She was born July 21, 1939 in Bluefield, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence P. and Zerva Z. Kegley Neal. She was a member of Barboursville Church of Christ and was an avid bowler at the Strike Zone Bowling Lanes. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles E. Crigger and one sister, Mary Armentrout. She is survived by her husband, Richard Burkhart; three daughters, Cynthia (David) Steinbrecher of Huntington, Cathy L. Yarborough of Huntington, and Connie A. (Eddie) Anselmi of Melbourne, Florida; two sons, Charles Edward (Tammy) Crigger Jr. of Athalia, OH and Chris A. (Lorrie) Crigger of Huntington; two sisters, Nancy Burkhart and Margie Bailey, both of Bluefield, WV; one brother, Sonny Neal of Virginia; seven stepchildren, Pat (Butch) Steahly, Jeannie Wilson, Terry (Bootsie) Black, Kim Burkhart, Larry Burkhart, Mary Spears and Gina Lamb; four special "daughters" Karen Sellards, Debra Pauley, Debbie Nunn, and Pam Wilhite; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
