Obituary

DAVE PRICE
(May 25, 1949 - December 25, 2015)

DAVE PRICE, 66, of Huntington, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at the VA Medical Center. He was born May 25, 1949 in West Hamlin. He was the son of the late Christine Brock and Walter Price. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and step grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Janie; his daughter Cassie; his stepdaughter Nikkie and her family; two brothers, Mike and his wife Sharon and Scott and his wife Amanda; his nieces and nephews; and one sister Marsha Price. He had a special relationship with Janice Hager and Evelyn Reynolds, they were like mothers to him. Dave had three special lifelong friends David Harris, David (Goose) Goshorn, and Jim Smith. He loved animals, especially his two Beagles Billy and Goldie Hawn and his latest rescue a little Dachshund named Baby. He was a U.S. Marine Vietnam Veteran and worked at Steel of West Virginia for 34 years. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
