    BLUE
NORMAN LEE "MAN MOUNTAIN" BLUE, of
Ona, W.Va, 83 years of age, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015, with his
loving family by his side. A celebration of his life will be at 7:30 p.m.
Monday, February 16, 2015, at Milton Baptist Church, Milton. Visitation from
5 to 7 p.m., service begins at 7:30 p.m., officiated by Reverend Allen
Stewart and eulogized by "Mick" Rowan. Norman was born September 6, 1931, in
Huntington, son of Russell and Miriam Gable Blue, both originally from
Norman's beloved farmlands of Peru, Ind. He is survived by the love of his
life, Carlotta Hutchinson Blue of 59 years; sister, Nancy Blue Bias of
Evansville, Ind.; and his two "little girls," Marsha Lee Blue Dille and
husband Robert and Melody Anne Blue Woodard and husband Patrick, all of Ona,
W.Va. Norman was so proud of his four grandsons, Steve of Santa Rosa,
Calif., Tim of Ona, W.Va., P.J. and Doug, both of Huntington; his only
great-grandchild and wrestling partner, Parker Dille; beloved
brother-in-law, Billy Hutchinson of Buena Park, Calif.; and dear cousins,
"Bud" and Marcia Norris of Peru, Ind. Norman was a member of Milton Baptist
Church, where he served as a former deacon, trustee and a long-time member
of the church choir. A proud all-state football member and 1950 graduate of
Huntington East High School, he worked as a first class clerk in Welding
Products for the International Nickel Co. for 29 years. He served in the
Korean War as a peed radio operator and was a cancer survivor. Norman loved
his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his family, his church and people in
general. He loved woodworking and golfing with his "golf buddies" and
farming with his friend Jimmy Allen. Many thanks to all his friends, family
and many medical care givers. Special thanks to Dr. James Akins and the
    entire Hospice House staff.
