Phyllis Jean Stowers Forth, 75, of Barboursville went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday evening, February 25. Phyllis is the wife of Charles Forth. She was born October 1, 1939, the eldest daughter of Lonnie and Lora Chandler Stowers. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Todd Allen Forth. She was a member of Highlawn Baptist Church and had recently attended Pea Ridge Baptist Church. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Charles, one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Connie Forth of Barboursville, a grandson and his wife, Chad and Michelle Forth of Barboursville, a granddaughter and her husband, Stephanie and Matthew Chapman of Ona, three great-grandchildren, Emma, Claire, and David Chapman, two sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnn and Ted Chapman of Culloden, Brenda Kay and Frank Mann of Culloden, and six brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sue Stowers of Hurricane, Douglas and Erma Stowers of Culloden, Gary and Marsha Stowers of Milton, Luther and Diane Stowers of Culloden, Eric and Anita Stowers of Culloden, Bruce and Donna Stowers of Hurricane and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two aunts and one uncle, Mildred and Bill Hughes of Culloden, Thelma Kessalene Richardson of Culloden. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm, Friday, February 27, 2015, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel in Barboursville by Brother David Jicka. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be given to Eastern Cabell County Humanitarian Organization (ECCHO), care of Pea Ridge Baptist Church, 5945 E. Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV 25705. All donations will be sent to Eastern Cabell County Humanitarian Organization (ECCHO).
