William Roy Glenn
(March 16, 1936 - February 24, 2015)



William Roy Glenn, 78, of Ona, W.V, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at home with his wife Anna Kuhn Glenn of 35 years and all of his children at his side. Bill was born March 16, 1936, in Louisville, KY, son of the late Joseph Bernard Glenn and Elizabeth (Watson) Glenn. In addition to his parents Bill is preceded in death by three brothers Patrick Pat Glenn, James J.B. Bernard Glenn and John Jack Albert Glenn all of Louisville, KY. He is survived by one sister Eleanor Ellie Elizabeth Fogle and Darrell. Bill is survived by 6 children Elizabeth Libby Glenn of Louisville, KY, William R. Glenn II of Hurricane, WV, James E. Davidson and Darlene of Huntington, Lorie Davidson of Ona, and Melissa Ann Davidson of Milton, and Connie Louise Moyer of North Carolina. Bill was blessed with 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who he loved them all dearly. Bill was employed for 38 years as a project manager and brick mason for River City Construction out of Louisville, Ky. Bill loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, camping whenever he could. He loved to cook, have cookouts and listen to family brag about what a good cook he was. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday February 27, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister David Gladwell. Burial will be at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Special thanks to Hospice of Huntington for all their kindness in caring for Bill.
