MARY FRANCES MURPHY
(July 14, 1924 - October 2, 2016)



MARY FRANCES MURPHY, 92, of Barboursville, passed away October 2, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with the Rev. Mr. John Hanna officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born July 14, 1924 in Monongalia County, a daughter of the late George and Madeline Sekeres Fumich. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Murphy and brothers, George, William, Steve and Edward Fumich. Mary is survived by her daughters, Cindy Manning of Charleston, W.Va., Mary Beth (Michael) Mullins of Charleston, W.Va., and Joan (Jeff) Kingery of Barboursville; brothers, Anthony Fumich of Morgantown, W.Va., Joseph (Sally) Fumich of Mich., and sister-in-law, Mary Fumich of Pursglove, W.Va.; grandchildren, Madeline (Nathan) Hill, John Manning, Matthew Kingery, Brendan Mullins, Emma Manning and Rachel Mullins and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving caregiver, Angie Dement, and her dog, Joy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ECCHO Ministries, 1038 Smith Street, Milton, WV 25541 to support the less fortunate of Eastern Cabell County. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
