Obituary

CHARLEY EUGENE ADKINS
(October 4, 1936 - April 14, 2017)

CHARLEY EUGENE ADKINS, 80, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Chris Alford. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. He was born October 4, 1936, in Wayne County, a son of the late Charley and Reba Perry Adkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Joyce Adkins, granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Adkins, and several brothers and sisters. Charley is survived by his daughter, Ida Parker (Tate) of Cottageville, S.C.; two sons, Charley Adkins Jr. (Denise) of Ohio and Randy Allen Adkins (Loretta) of Huntington; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
