Hobert F. Smith
(February 18, 1959 - April 14, 2017)

Hobert F. Smith, Sr., 58, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. He was born February 18, 1959, a son of the late Ralph Dennon Smith and Emily Inez (Perry) Smith. He was also preceded in death by several sisters and brothers and a loving granddaughter, Ashley. He is survived by his wife, Nora (Sanders) Smith; one daughter, Stephanie Noel Smith of Huntington; two sons, Hobert Franklin Smith Jr. of Lesage and Jason Scott Smith of Huntington; Hobert raised three loving neices and one nephew; two sisters, Marsha Clay of Huntington and Eva McClure of Culloden; two brothers, Ben Smith and Phillip Smith, both of Huntington; two grandchildren that he was raising, Cameron and Courtney Smith of Huntington; grandchildren, Lizbeth, Abrian, Haleigh, Bradley, Katence, Caden and Brayden. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, with funeral services at 3:00 pm Wednesday.
