granddaughter, Courtney, who spoke for all of us who knew how special of a
grandmother she was and will forever be. "Hey, I know y'all are probably
asleep by now. So don't wanna wake you. But just thinking about you and
wanna let y'all know I love you! Thank y'all for all you do for me! Thank
you for letting me stay with y'all every summer, for taking me places as a
kid, the fishing trips, the camping, tubing, Cherokee, West Virginia, the
Dollar Store, Walmart, for letting me drive your jeep around the yard way
before I was old enough to drive, for the 'frog' pond, the western movies,
laid across your bed with either popcorn, chips, peanuts, sunflower seeds,
potato sticks or sesame sticks, for staying up with me all night telling
jokes and sharing stories about life, the tents in the living room, the
'spooky' stories, for making road trips fun, for always making me feel
loved! There's never a time I wasn't excited to see y'all! And I hate that I
can't make it around more often now! Just know y'all are the best
grandparents I could have asked for! And every single day with y'all are
some of the best memories I have. Love you!"
