CAROLYN K. CUSTER, 72, of Barboursville, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Edward S. Custer Jr.; sons Matthew (Sara), Tim (Tara); daughter Andrea Jones; and her three beloved granddaughters, Kierstin Custer, Ryleigh Custer and Sabrina Jones. She was born and raised in Milford, Del., the daughter of the late Howard and Frances Killen. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann and brother-in-law Donald Hall. Carolyn was a homemaker and retired from River Valley Child Development Services. She attended the University of Delaware, North Carolina Central University and graduated from Marshall University. No services are planned at this time.
