Evis Elizabeth Bowen
(September 19, 1929 - June 2, 2017)

Evis Elizabeth Bowen, 87, of Barboursville, passed away June 2, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Evan Arkell. Burial will be private. She was born September 19, 1929 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Shelley and Julia Collins Woodrum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Bowen, son-in-law, Dennis Johnson and her sister, Donna Tidd. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly Johnson of Barboursville, Cindee Bowen and Robert Skeen of Hurricane, and Angie and Ed Boley of South Point, OH; one sister, Sheila Reynolds of FL; five grandchildren, Shelly Hightower, Ashley Ripley, Suzanne Ward, Merritt Keller Cook and Nathan Keller. The family would like to thank the staff of Chateau Grove and Hospice of Huntington for their kindness and care.
