Obituary

William Larry Gill
(February 21, 1934 - June 14, 2017)

William Larry Gill, 83, of Milton, WV, passed away June 14, 2017. He was born February 21, 1934, in Salt Rock, WV, a son of the late William Ollie Gill and Nona Queen Gill. He is survived by his wife, Helen Salmons Gill; three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Anderson of Jasper, GA, Diane and Greg Riley of Ona, WV, and Mary Beth and Jason Merritt of Lesage, WV; one son and daughter-in-law, William and Michele Gill of Milton; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of Barboursville High School and Marshall University, and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a former owner of ZieBart Tidy Car in Huntington and Charleston, an avid sports fan and loved to volunteer with CMHS Track and Cross County teams. He loved playing rummy, story telling and family get-togethers. Visitation will be 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bill Davis. Burial will be in Gill Cemetery, Salt Rock.
