Mary Frances Compton Turner
(July 3, 1922 - June 5, 2017)

MARY FRANCES COMPTON TURNER, 94, of Huntington, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017. She was born July 3, 1922, in Hickman County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Arthur and Aolia Dockery Davis. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Poy Compton and Raymond Turner. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sheri Compton of Barboursville; two step-children, Bertha Davis and Frank Earl Turner; two brothers, James Davis and Johnie Davis of Clinton, Ky.; two granddaughters and their spouses, Laura and Eric Staub and Stephanie and Randall Gilbert; four great-grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah Carter, Peyton Gilbert and Addyson Staub. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Greg Creasy. Graveside services will be conducted at noon Friday, June 9, 2017, at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens, Bethalto, Ill. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
