Bonita Kay "Bonnie" Sawyers
(August 21, 1946 - June 30, 2017)

Bonita Kay “Bonnie” Sawyers, 70, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Pastor Dennis Morrello. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born August 21, 1946 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas Daniels Jr. and Kathleen Tucker Bortz. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gary Sawyers; one daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Michael Cooper of NJ; one son and daughter-in-law Gary Jr. and Heather Sawyers of Huntington; one sister Linda Cremeans of Huntington; 7 grandchildren Mason Adams, Morgan Sawyers, Bryson Tate Sawyers, Makenzie Sawyers, Keegan Sawyers, Michael Cooper Jr. and Savannah Cooper. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
