Obituary

Paul Carson Davis
(April 30, 1970 - August 11, 2018)

Beloved son of Shirley and Cotton Davis, PAUL CARSON DAVIS, 48, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away peacefully Saturday, August 11, 2018, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Cyrus Creek Missionary Baptist Church, by Rev. Ronnie Scarberry and Pastor Tim Messinger. Burial will be in Blue Sulphur Cemetery, Ona. He was born April 30, 1970, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Shirley Cyrus Davis of Barboursville and the late Cotton Davis. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Hannah Davis of Barboursville; one son, Dutch Davis of Barboursville; one sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Kevin Rice of Milton; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Amy Davis of Supply, N.C.; nephew Cameron Rice; great-nephew Carson Rice; and beloved friends, Jay and Heather Scarberry. In the words of Paul, "Be kind to one another." Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
