Jean Isabella Bartram Meadows
(June 27, 1933 - August 24, 2018)



Jean Isabella Bartram Meadows, 85, of Huntington, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 24, 2018 at home with her family around her. Born June 27, 1933, a daughter of the late Owen Meredith and Mary Adkins Bartram Davidson. She graduated from Rapid City High School in South Dakota. Her last employment was at Owens-Illinois Glass plant. Jean was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Meredith Owen Bartram; one sister-in-law, Carol Bartram and one brother-in-law, Walter Lewis. She is survived by her husband Donald E. Meadows; four daughters, Vickie Coleman of St. Petersburg, FL, Donna Shell of Huntington, WV, Mary Christine Spencer and husband Dean of Huntington, WV and Jennifer Ann Meadows of Huntington, WV; one son, Gregory Owen Meadows and his wife Tracy of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Geraldine Lewis of Winchester, KY; one sister-in-law, Betty Bowden and husband Bill of TN; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Tiffany, Michael, Teia, Megan, Zackary, Nikolas, and Alyssa; nine great-grandchildren, Jayla, Kelsie, Kiason, Bryce, Myah, Lillian, Nevaeh, Ryleigh and Zackary; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kingston and Malibu and special friend, Joyce Saunders. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Brother Hugh Summers. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
