Obituary

Rev. Russell Gue
(October 24, 1925 - August 29, 2018)

Rev. Russell Gue, 92, of Salt Rock, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Alan Frye and Rev. Johnny Gue. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. He was born October 24, 1925, in Cabell County, a son of the late Lace and Bertha Cremeans Gue. He was the pastor at Green Valley Baptist Church for 28 years. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sheila Gue and two brothers, Hobert and Curtis Gue. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Adkins Gue; one daughter, Donna Stevens of Salt Rock; one son, Corkey Gue of Salt Rock; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
