Roger Allen McComas
(September 28, 1946 - August 17, 2018)

ROGER ALLEN McCOMAS, 71, of Glenwood, W.Va., passed away suddenly Friday, August 17, 2018, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. He was born September 28, 1946, in Huntington, a son of the late Walter Woodrow and Freda Bias McComas. He was a retired employee of America Electric Power, and a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Mount McComas. Roger served as a father figure to Kathleen's children, Rebekka Henry of Marshville, N.C., Michael Henry of Glenwood, W.Va., Patrick Henry of Lesage, W.Va., and Tyler Henry of Glenwood, W.Va., and her grandchildren; sisters, Linda Huston of Tucson, Ariz., Brenda Bryant of Proctorville, Ohio, and Terri Bennett of Charlotte, N.C.; and brothers, Dennis and Kenneth McComas of Glenwood, W.Va. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
