Carol Geraldine Dennison
November 25, 1940 - January 8, 2009


Mrs. Carol Geraldine Dennison, 68 of Huntington, loving mother, wife, sister and friend, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009 in St. Mary�s Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 12, 2009 at Harmony United Methodist Church (formerly Christ and Riverview United Methodist Churches), where she was a member, with Rev. Phil Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born November 25, 1940 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Carlos and Avis Kitchen Holley Burgess. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father Junior Holley, her 1st husband, John S. Meadows, and a grandson, John S. Meadows, IV. She is survived by her husband of 40 wonderful years, Ralph E. Dennison; children and spouses, Rhonda and Mike Sheridan, of Ironton, OH, Mary and Brian Asbury of Huntington, Carol Lynn Meadows and Mark Littlejohn of Ona, WV, Ronnie and Missie Dennison of Huntington, John and Patti Meadows of Ashland, KY; step-children, Bev and John Sweeney of Salt Rock, WV, Doris Watts of Chesapeake, OH, Vickie Poston of Ceredo, WV, and Bruce and Michelle Dennison of Lavalette, WV; grandchildren, Autumn, Amber, Samantha, Jennifer, Kaylee, Bryce, Jacob, Emily, Christian, Chris, Zack, Sarah, Brandon, and Nicholas; 7 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters and spouses, Charles and Peggy Burgess, of Ona, WV, Jimmie and Anita Burgess, of Huntington, WV, Eddie Burgess of Ashton, WV, Roger and Jackie Holley of Huntington, Brenda and Bernard Cremeans, Phil and Frances Wilson, of Huntington, WV and Wanda McComass, of Florida: aunt Betty Fulton of Huntington, and special friends, Joan and Billy Rose of Huntington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or to Harmony United Methodist Church.
