Wanda Joy Lockhart
May 13, 1934 - January 7, 2009



Wanda Joy Lockhart, 74, of Huntington, wife of G.W. Lockhart, passed away Wednesday January 7, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Saturday January 10, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Danny Young officiating. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. Wanda was born May 13, 1934 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Walter and Jencie Adkins Keesee. She was a member of Green Valley Bible Baptist Church, and was retired from Cabell Huntington Hospital. In addition to her husband survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jim Chapman of Huntington, and Beverly and Fred McDonald of Bridgeport, WV; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger D. and Lois A. Lockhart of Huntington; a sister and brother-in-law, Addie and Merrill Cooper of Flatwoods, KY; a brother, Carroll Keesee of Huntington; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Lockhart and his wife, Aurelia, and Lindsay D. Smith and Carey Smith, all of Huntington; and a great grandchild, Ian Ward of Huntington.  Friends may call 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
