Millard J. Deweese, 41, of, Huntington, WV., died Friday May 29, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 PM Friday June 5, 2009 at the American Legion Post 177, 6024 Route 60 E. Huntington, WV. and also at 1:00 PM Sunday June 7, 2009 at the Ayers Cemetery, Smithville, WV. Millard was born June 3 1967 in Point Pleasant, WV. a son of Millard A. Deweese of Washburn, WV. & the late Edith L. Ayers Deweese. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving in Desert Storm. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Eber H. Deem. Additional survivors include his wife Christine Deweese of Scottown, Oh., 1 daughter; Josephine Spears of Huntington, 2 sons; Millard Deweese of Huntington & Michael Deweese of Chesapeake, Oh., 2 sisters; Pamela Tichnell of Washburn, & Teresa True of Little River, SC., 3 brothers; Mark R. & Gary D. Deem both of Huntington & Bryan R. Deem of Nashville, Tn., and his mother-in-law Linda Blankenship of Huntington. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
