Mary E. Snider

Mrs. Mary E. Snider, 71, of Huntington, widow of Leslie Snider, passed away Friday a the Emogene Donin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services wil be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday June 1, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary with Bro. Richard Neal officiating. She was born August 26, 1937 in Lawrence County Ohio, a daughter of the late Clarence Arthur and Elsie Lee Bowen Robbins. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Kay Adkins, a brother, Donald Robbins, and a half sister, Lily May Robbins. Surviving are 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Floyd Grant and Darla Adkins, Raymond Howard Adkins, and Ricky Gene Snider, all of Huntington; 2 daughters Sharon Ann Kittle of Las Vegas, NE, and Vickie Elizabeth Snider of Huntington; 2 sisters Nellie Tooley of Ohio, and Sylvia (Gene) Gravely, of Illinois,; a brother Robert Robbins of Lesage; numerous grandchildren including Jonathan Snider and Magan Lynn Moyers; and a sister-in-law, Joan Robbins of Texas. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 5 pm until 7 pm Sunday May 31, 2009.
