Nancy June Monnig, 76, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral liturgy will be conducted at noon Saturday, May 16, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Huntington, with Monsignor Lawrence Luciana officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Nancy was born October 2, 1932 in Florence, KY a daughter of the late Arthur Byron Bonar and Nancy Pearl Rankin Bonar Lawson. She was also preceded in death by a step son, James H. Monnig II. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the DAR. Survivors include: her husband, James H. Monnig; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and John Wesselman of Florence, KY; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Myra Arnold of Florence, KY and Clyde and Sandy Arnold of Covington, KY; two step daughters and their husbands, Mary Kathryn and Roy Edwards of Clemmons, NC and Becky and Jeff Scott of Bozeman, Montana; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Louise Bonar of Walton, KY; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
