Alana Kathryn Deshay Brooks
 (October 31, 2010)

Alana Kathryn Brooks, 19, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with her family Floyd Brooks and Audrey Brooks, on Sunday, October 31, 2010, at her residence. The beloved child of Terri Brooks, she was a graduate of Cabell Midland High School. She is also survived by sister Danielle Brooks, niece Mahayla Meadows, uncle Michael Brooks, best friend and partner James Cox, and half brother Percy Jones Jr. Alana was greatly adored by her family, friends and co-workers. She will be missed. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary.
