Michael E. Roe

Michael E. Roe, 67, of Ashland, KY, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010, at King's Daughters and Sons Home, Ashland. He was born July 14, 1943 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Harley E. and Thelma C. Parsons Roe. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and was a former employee of Armstrong, Huntington Awning, and Goodwill Industries. Survivors include: two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sandra and Rick Ruggles of Chesapeake, OH and Diana S. Dunfee of Proctorville, OH; three nieces; three nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville, with Pastor James Kessick officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted be VFW Post 1064. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. The procession will leave the funeral home at 11:20 AM Wednesday.
