Obituary

JULIAN EDWARD BERRY
(October 26, 2015)


Julian Edward Berry, 68, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born May 7, 1947 in Charleston, WV a son of the late Ruby and Hazel Meek Berry. He was the retired chief of social work at the Huntington Veterans Administration Medical Center; a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and a member of Central United Methodist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Wanda Moore Berry; loving brother-in-law, Mike (Gege) Schwab of Rapid City, SD; loving sister-in-law, Peggy (Scott) Saltus of South Grafton, MA; loving cousins, Allen (Barbara) Meek of Huntington, Andy (Paula) Meek of Port Orange, FL and Kelly (Jeff) Bragg of Proctorville, OH; loving uncles, Karl Meek of Port Orange, FL and Earl (Barbara) Meek of Huntington; several nieces and nephews, including a loving nephew, Jeff (Marcia) Ball of Huntington and loving niece, Theresa (Kevin) Cooper of KY; his handsome boy, Harley; and many special friends including his friends with the Ace Bicycle Club. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Central United Methodist Church, 1043 Jefferson Avenue, Huntington, with Pastor Ford Price officiating.
