Obituary


Eva E. Carter, 90, of Huntington, WV, passed on to her heavenly home on Friday October 23, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Tuesday October 27, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Minister Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. She was born December 15, 1924 at Mt. Gay, WV to Lucinda Marcum Blankenship and Ernest Blankenship, Sr. Also preceding her in death were brothers; Brice and Ernest Blankenship, Jr. and Willis Gillman and son-in-law, Anthony Ogg. She was loved dearly and will be deeply missed by those who survive her including two daughters; Wilma and William Riess and Raedean Ogg; one stepdaughter, Betty and Ron Norris, and one stepson, Larry Carter; three grandchildren and their spouses; five great grandchildren and one baby boy due in December and numerous nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Collins for his care and compassion for our loved one. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Huntington would be appreciated.
