Obituary



Halena Dolly Hatten 85, of Westmoreland, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her residence. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Burial will follow. She was born February 15, 1930, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Hallie V. and Beulah Smith Shelton. Nine siblings also preceded her in death. She was a production worker at American National Rubber with over 38 years of service, and a member of Grace Gospel Church. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Forrest A. Hatten; one son, Forrest Allan Hatten both of Huntington; two daughters, Joyce Ann Howard of Kenova, and Susan Carol Freeman and her husband Randy of Fredericksburg, VA; one sister, Hettie White of FL; 5 grandchildren. Friends may call after 12:30 Tuesday at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
