John Joseph Engbersen, 91, of Huntington, passed away March 25, 2018 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. John was born on February 14, 1927 in Huntington, WV to the late Joseph and Eugenia Downey Engbersen. The family will have a private graveside service. There will be no visitation. John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a clerk for CSX for many years. He was a graduate of Bowling Green Business School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 nephew. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Short Engbersen of Huntington; a brother, Paul Engbersen of Williamsburg, VA; a sister, Marguerite (Bill) Snow of Lima, OH; and 18 nieces and nephews.
