VIOLET VIRGINIA CHAPMAN BLEDSOE
(June 5, 1927 - November 1, 2014)


VIOLET VIRGINIA CHAPMAN BLEDSOE, 87, of Salt Rock, W.Va., passed away November 1, 2014 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born June 5, 1927, daughter of the late Olse and Maude Chapman. She was also preceded in death by her husband Wyatt Bledsoe, a son Mark Allen Bledsoe; three brothers, Paul Chapman, Elmo Chapman and Caroll Johnny Chapman. She is survived by one son Gregory Bledsoe of Salt Rock and one adopted daughter Angie Bledsoe of Salt Rock; six grandchildren Brandon Bledsoe, Bonnie and her husband David Parker of N.C., Colton Bledsoe, Mark Allen Bledsoe Jr., Candy Mitchell; six great grandchildren; three brothers Raymond Chapman, Gilmer O. Chapman and Olse Chapman Jr. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor James Jobe. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock, W.Va. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charlie Soward, Chris Meade, Tommy Chapman, Richard Chapman, Brandon Bledsoe and David Parker. She leaves behind her best friends Helen Bledsoe and Patty Chapman.
