GENEVA PATRICIA (DAVIS) ADKINS
(December 26, 1950 - October 25, 2014)


GENEVA PATRICIA (DAVIS) ADKINS, born December 26, 1950, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Davis; her father, Andrew Davis; her brothers, Elwood Clarence and Tom Davis; and her sisters, Vera Edwards and Clara Hembree. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Adkins of Salt Rock, W.Va.; her daughter, Shelia Adkins, and grandsons, Lee and Dalton Hubbard of Branchland, W.Va.; her sons, Mitchell Joseph Adkins of Salt Rock, W.Va., who was also her caregiver, and Matthew James (Missy) Adkins, and their children, Timothy Wagnor, Courtney Adkins and Matthew Adkins II of Mason County, W.Va.; a grandson, Austin Adkins of Wayne; and one brother, Hector (Glinda) Davis of Fayetteville, N.C. She has several nieces and nephews that she held dear to her from Ohio, North Carolina and Tennessee. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2014, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, with entombment to follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park on Rt. 60 in Huntington.
