Obituary

BRETT ALAN CHILDERS
(December 24, 1953 - October 18, 2014)


BRETT ALAN CHILDERS, 60, formerly of Barboursville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, Oct 24, 2014, from noon to 2 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born Dec. 24, 1953 in Huntington, the son of Alpha A. Childers and the late Virgil E. Childers. He is also survived by one brother and sister in law, Darrell and Diana Childers of Harrisburg, NC; one sister and brother-in-law, Rowena and Larry Diamond of Fultonham, Ohio; four nephews, Scott Childers, Kent Childers, Jeremy Diamond and Mark Diamond and 13 great nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Marshall University. He was a longtime member of Bloomingdale - Salem Baptist Church and attended Uniontown Baptist Church in Fultonham, Ohio after moving there.
