BRENDA SUE HATFIELD
(November 3, 1955, - October 31, 2014)


BRENDA SUE HARVEY HATFIELD, 58, of Wayne, passed away October 31, 2014, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born November 3, 1955, in Huntington, a daughter of Margaret Rose Rakes Thompson of Somerset, Ky., and the late Farnia Harold Harvey. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Smith. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Hatfield; two sons, Christopher Lee Wellman and Brandon Scott Hatfield, both of Wayne; five sisters, Patricia Slone of Hamlin, Ruby Fae Porter of Charleston, W.Va., Joan Marie Hoyle of Hickory, N.C., Betty Elizabeth Harbor of Huntington and Frenia Arthur of Huntington; four brothers, Jake Harvey of Point Pleasant, Samuel Charles Harvey of Huntington, Thomas Rayburn Harvey of Salt Rock and Harold Ray Harvey of Hamlin; stepmother, Rachel Adkins of Hamlin; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Robert Hatfield.
