DAVID EDWARD ABBOTT
(December 10, 2016)



DAVID EDWARD ABBOTT, 60, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Rev. Kevin Shull. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born March 24, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Walter and Rosella "Ruth" Blake Abbott. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jessica Nicole Abbott. David's hobbies include his love for auto racing with friends and fishing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Erma Elizabeth Clonch Abbott; one daughter, Kimberly (David) Abel of Brunswick, Ohio; one son, Ryan Abbott and his fiancée Megan Rowe of Farmington, Minn.; one brother, Ernest (Sandi) Abbott of Huntington; three sisters, Wanda (Herb) Crommett of White House, Tenn, Gloria (Ray) Brown of Milton, W.Va., and Debbie (David) Ellis of Lesage, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Andrew Childers, Logan Harmic, Joseph Harmic Jr., and Megan Abel; and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
