BEATRICE PEARL SIMPKINS
(April 10, 1927 - December 17, 2016)


BEATRICE PEARL SIMPKINS, 89, of Barboursville, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born April 10, 1927, a daughter of the late Edmond and Mearl Hale Mills. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Simpkins; two sons, Linton and Michael Andrew Simpkins; sister, Dorothy Brown; two brothers, Enoch and Vernon Mills; one nephew, Bob Mills. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Simpkins of Barboursville; son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Mari Simpkins, of Memphis, Tenn.; sister Delores Perry of Kenova; brothers and sisters-in-law Dennis and Tiny Mills of Lesage, and Larry and Reba Mills of Elkins; sister-in-law Letha Mills; nineteen nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington, Rescare, and special thanks to Julie, Melissa and Lisa Lucas.
